After much thought and consideration Affordable Fitness opened its Makaha facility in October 2005. Makaha Marketplace referred to by locals as The Old Cornet Store was the perfect sight for a fitness facility. The location serves as a community hub for locals, tourists, and snowbirds. The addition of a fitness facility brings convenience and health to mind. Far too long has the West Side of the Island gone without a decent recreation facility. Affordable Fitness comprimises over 5,100 square feet and offers a full service fitness facility including:
Free Weights – dumbbells, Olympic style plates, Smith Machine, benches
30 Selectorize Machines – Nautilus, Cybex, Body Master, Maxicam, Universal, Life Fitness
20 Cardio Machines – including treadmills, steppers, ellipticals, bikes, and hand ergometer
Group Classes (800 square foot studio for rent) – including aerobics, core ball conditioning, body sculpt, pilates, yoga, and step
"JUICED" Smoothies and Sports Nutrition – 100% Fruit Smoothies & Sports Nutrition (including supplements and sports drinks)
Play Room – playroom for keiki to use while you workout with tv/vcr and play structure (unsupervised)
